TLG Make Lunch Living Word
Living Word in partnership with TLG Make Lunch are helping to provide essential assistance to some of the most vulnerable children in the community.
We are committed to help struggling children through holiday lunch clubs to provide free nutritious meals to those who might otherwise go hungry.
During school holidays, TLG partner churches have provided over 120,000 hot meals to children in more than 100 locations across the UK.
The kitchens are run by passionate volunteers who believe that even one meal for one child can have a significant impact.

Summer 2022
Summer 2022
We kicked start the summer session on Thursday 28 August 2022, (a year on after the initial launch in July 2021), with a lovely visit from Livy Gibbs, the TLG regional leader for London and the South East. She was amazing as she rolled up her sleeves to join in the activities. The families had a fantastic time making a marble run. The children had to be creative in their designs as the marble run that took the longest time to complete its course wins the race. This was linked to our theme for the day “The prodigal son, everyone deserves to be forgiven”.
We received our first delivery from the Felix Surplus Food Project, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables for the families to take home after a lovely meal of chilli con carne; fruits and cake.
